Four roles for different needs
Mentionable uses role-based access control with four levels:
Owner: full control over the workspace, including billing, subscription management, and team administration. Typically the person who created the account.
Admin: can manage projects, modify settings, and perform most operations. Can't change billing or remove the owner.
Member: full access to project data and day-to-day features. Can view tracking, competitors, sources, and use the chat agent. Can add prompts and trigger actions. Can't change workspace settings.
Customer: read-only access to project data. Can view dashboards, tracking results, competitor analysis, and reports, but can't modify anything. Ideal for clients who need visibility into their data without editing permissions.
Invite by email
Adding a team member takes 10 seconds. Go to your project's team page, enter their email, select a role, and send the invitation. The invitee receives an email with a join link.
If they already have a Mentionable account, they log in and see your workspace added to their account. If they're new, they create an account and land directly in your workspace.
Invitations can be canceled before they're accepted, and team members can be removed at any time.
Multi-tenant architecture
Mentionable's multi-tenant model means each user can belong to multiple organizations. This is designed for the way modern teams actually work.
A consultant might have their own workspace for personal brand tracking, plus membership in two client workspaces where they manage AI visibility for clients. Each workspace has its own subscription, projects, and team.
